Hey everyone!
Thanks for visiting my new blog. As you may or may not know, I've been bodybuilding for 5 years now and have decided to tell the world about it! I'm thinking about putting some pics up but I already have a ton of them on my Facebook page - I'm only comfortable about showing them off to people I know at the mo!
However, I still want to tell people all about my training (got some really good training gear for my 19th last week - thanks again mum and dad xx) and about the difficulties faced just because I decide to look a bit 'different' lol. Those of you who know me will know that I'm just a big girly girl at heart (I don't do steroids either - so everything is still in the right place!).
Anyway, a little about me. I'm 19 years old and live near London in the UK. I got into bodybuilding with some of my mates from school when I was 14 but only two or three of us stuck it out. Were all having fun just seeing how much we can grow without taking anything we shouldn't - we've already seen a good friend's life go to crap because that. I work as a personal trainer with those who haven't got an ego too big to admit that a girl can lift more than them!
A lot of people ask me why I decided to start bodybuilding. Simply, I found that I built muscle really easily just by doing sports and I spent ages trying to do everything I could to stay skinny. Then, one day I realised that I had a gift that thousands of people would love to have and just decided to work with it. I have to go for regular medical check ups to make sure that my heart can keep up with my lifting and growth but doing 2 hours of cardio a day tends to take care of it. Basically, I found it was easier to just go with it and get big than to spend the rest of my days panicking about going out with biceps on show.
Anyway thanks for reading and come back soon,
Lucy xx
